Story
Lech Sybirak has a deeply wrinkled, serious face, a thick moustache and a long beard. The sides of his head are covered by shaggy flaps that look like a warm fur hat, the kind you would need in a very cold land. Take a quiet moment with him and look closely at all the details in his face.
History & Significance
wromap.pl places Lech Sybirak at Podwale 57, names Beata Zwolańska-Hołod as his author and gives 16 April 2025 as the date he appeared, which makes him one of the newer dwarfs in this part of town. We did not find a sponsor or a second source. Wrocław's dwarfs trace back to the Orange Alternative, a playful, peaceful protest movement of the 1980s whose members painted dwarfs on city walls; since 2005 the city has filled its streets with bronze dwarfs, and there are now hundreds of them.
