Salt Square

Welcome to Salt Square! Hundreds of years ago merchants sold precious salt here - so precious that people called it 'white gold'. Today the square is famous for its flower stalls, which make it one of the most colourful corners of the Old Town at any time of year. Kids' challenge: find a flower in your favourite colour and another one you have never seen before. Tip: there are benches here, so it is a good spot for a short rest before the next part of the walk.
