Story
3Tesluś is a playful peeker. A cheerful dwarf with a short beard and a pointed cap grins up out of a large, copper-brown, drum-like ring, resting his chin on the edge, with one hand giving a thumbs-up. The ring has rivets and a small plaque on top, and it stands on a grey stone base outside a glass building.
History & Significance
3Tesluś stands at Strzegomska 138 in Muchobór Mały. The sculptor is listed as Beata Zwolańska-Hołod, and wromap.pl gives 26 January 2025 as the date it appeared. The dwarf tradition began in 2001, when the Orange Alternative monument (Papa Krasnal) was unveiled on Świdnicka street, and the city has kept adding bronze dwarfs ever since. The sources I found do not say who commissioned or sponsored it.
Inspiration
The name starts with the number 3 and ends in 'Tesluś'; it may be a playful reference to something technical, but the sources I found do not explain it or name a sponsor. The ring or wheel he peeks through looks like a machine part, which fits an industrial area, but that is a reading of the photo only.
