Tumski Bridge

This green iron bridge from 1889 leads to Ostrów Tumski, the oldest part of Wrocław, where the city began more than a thousand years ago. Couples hang padlocks on its railings as a sign of love, so the bridge is covered in thousands of them. Every evening at dusk, a real lamplighter in a top hat and cape walks over here and lights around a hundred gas lamps by hand - one of a kind in Poland.
